Commission
2024 Honors Society ‘Walrus’- A graduate of Alfred University, Kai Simkins, hired me to sculpt an
8”x8”x8” bronze walrus for their Honors Thesis Project. They created a ‘Hammock Circle’ with
one post in the middle, representing the Honors Society, and 6 posts around the center post, all
representing a different school of the University. The Bronze Walrus is installed on top of the
middle post. The walrus is the mascot of the Honors Society. This is a permanent installation.
